May we never become desensitized to the power and necessary of fervent prayer. I believe one of satan’s biggest traps, particularly for the believer, is to consume us with work, idle time, where we are too busy to pray. It won’t be bold, obvious, demonstrations of demonic activity that will distract or lure us, but ambitions that consume our time and take on forms of idolatry.
We are in critical times where it will be essential to have an ear for our Shepherd so that the voices of achievement, our to-do-list, or whatever else that has our attention, won’t mimic the voice of God. We are designed in a manner where we pursue what’s most valuable to us. Our allotment and management of our time is a clear indication of what we treasure most. I implore you …may we sit with Jesus, often. Everything else can wait.
